  1. I think that its true beacause if someone treats you like trash and doesnt show you any kind of kindness towards you then your only going be filled with resentment to those that mistreated you and feel no respect towards them.

    1. Yes, thats true but sometimes other people are strong enough or they just dont really care enough that the way people treat them doesn't change them.

  3. If society doesn't make us then why is it that some people are unhappy because of the way that other treat them. And an example is when someone is being bullied and they feel horrible about themselfs.

  4. I think its true because some people are unhappy by the way the are treated by others and the person thats unhappy treats others the same way he or she are being treated

  5. I think that it is true because society makes a big part in our lives. Society can be bad at times and good in others. It has to do with Frankenstein because no one was there to raise the creature and so what he learned was based off society. The way the people would treat him was eventually how he started treating others. This makes the quote true but it can also be wrong. Sometimes some people are strong enough to not become what society wants them to become. For example in peer pressure. When someone wants you to do something you dont want to do, some people can easily say no.

  6. I agree because the creature is made to feel hate by the way society treats him. They show hate against him so he treats society with hate aswell.

  7. I agree because society can change what you think about a certain thing. In Frankenstein the creature's perspective changed how he felt about humans because of the way they treated him so badly and judged him without knowing him.

    1. i agree with you because society can change people but others are strong enough or have confidence to do what they want and not what the others are doing.

  8. The quote does apply for some people but not to all because some people do get affected of what others say about them but others don't really care about people's comments. The creature does get affected because the people and Frankenstein treat him so bad that he also treats them the same way.

  9. For the most part I agree with the quote. Sit back and look how brainwashed and hive-minded most people are. And they don't know the difference because society teaches that its normal and right. It relates to the story in that the creature had no one to teach him and society was cruel to him; he didn't enjoy this treatment but it was okay to everyone and he grew up to be a murderer.

  10. The norms of society do affect the way us as humans are/act, b/c if it wouldn't have affected us we would have been comfortable w/ being ourselves without having the problem that anyone would judge us. We would have been comfortable w/ being gay, weird, dyslexic, or in this case a creature now one has ever seen in their lives.

  11. I agree that society makes us the way we are . But it all can depend on the we let it affect us . In Frankenstein though , it affected the creature's perspective on humans because the people and his own creator looked at him as an ugly thing and pretty much wanted to destroy him .
